Job Summary

Griffith Ford Seguin is seeking a highly motivated and highly organized individual to fill our Parts Manager. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry located in Seguin, Texas. The main responsibility of this role is to maintain the accuracy and organization of our parts department and ensure timely shipping and receiving of parts.

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary plus commission, paid semi-monthly. Additionally, the selected candidate will have access to our comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 401k plan and paid time off.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and inspect incoming parts shipments from various suppliers
  • Verify accuracy of shipped parts and match them to corresponding purchase orders
  • Organize and stock parts in designated inventory areas
  • Create and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing parts
  • Process parts requests from internal departments and external customers
  • Prepare and package parts for shipping, including labeling and completing necessary documentation
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely delivery of parts to customers
  • Perform inventory counts and assist with regular inventory audits
  • Maintain a clean and organized parts inventory area
  • Communicate any stock shortages or discrepancies to management
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while handling and storing parts
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in an inventory management or shipping/receiving role, preferably in the auto industry
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and inventory management software
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible availability and willingness to work weekends as needed
