D- HK Extrusion - ATLD - Assistant TEAM LEADER

Overview

Assistant Team Leader:
Support the Team Lead and production staff in daily extrusion and conversion operations. Assist with tasks such as changeovers, troubleshooting, raw material handling, documentation, and housekeeping. Help maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality production while learning the skills needed to advance into a leadership role.

• Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work flexible shifts when required.
• Ability to follow instructions, handle job-related stress, and maintain professionalism.
• Interest in developing leadership and technical skills.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

• Assist Team Lead with daily production activities and operator support.
• Help complete basic production and quality documentation (checklists, labels, hold tickets).
• Support material handling tasks such as restocking boxes, organizing WIP, and weighing/cutting scrap.
• Maintain housekeeping in work areas (conversion, extrusion, ink room, warehouse).
• Observe and report safety, quality, or production concerns to the Team Lead immediately.
• Participate in shift meetings and training sessions.
• Provide coverage for Team Lead in limited situations, as directed by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Lead or supervisor.

• Follow all company safety, quality, and GMP policies at all times.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S standards.
• Show initiative by learning processes, equipment, and quality requirements.
• Support a positive, team-oriented work environment.
