The Staff Accountant supports day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close across a growing portfolio of real estate entities and our wholesale real estate business.

This is a hands-on role. You’ll be in the numbers every day — processing transactions, reconciling accounts, supporting close, and ensuring our financial data is accurate, timely, and trustworthy.

This role is ideal for someone who:

Accounts Payable & Expense Management

• Process accounts payable accurately and on time
• Track and monitor recurring expenses
• Maintain clean, organized financial tracking spreadsheets
• Communicate with vendors to resolve billing issues
• Review, code, and post imported financial transactions
• Properly expense transactions or assign them to balance sheet accounts
• Use customized accounting and bookkeeping software to support daily operations

Month-End Close & Financial Reporting

• Assist with month-end close across multiple entities
• Post routine and accrual journal entries
• Support preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements

Bank & Account Reconciliations

• Perform bank and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies

General Finance Support

• Support CPA and external accountant requests
• Assist with tax initiatives and finance process improvements
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports for leadership
• Conduct daily bank runs to deposit incoming checks

• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (accruals, prepaids, debits & credits)
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Comfortable working independently

• Experience with multiple legal entities
• Analytical mindset, especially with reconciliations
• Clear written and verbal communication
