Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Hydraulic Technician to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The right candidate will have solid expertise in hydraulic systems, mechanical maintenance, and troubleshooting, combined with strong customer service skills. This role involves hands-on technical work and direct interaction with clients to deliver exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs and routine maintenance on hydraulic equipment to ensure peak efficiency.
  • Use PLC systems for diagnostics and problem-solving.
  • Carry out scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance through CMMS tools
    .
  • Interpret technical drawings and schematics to identify and resolve issues.
  • Utilize precision instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters for accurate testing.
  • Complete welding tasks (including stick welding) when needed for repairs or modifications.
  • Provide on-site service and technical assistance to customers in a professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to improve safety and operational performance.
  • Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
Required Skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with hydraulic systems in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and background in industrial maintenance.
  • Ability to safely operate scissor lifts in a production environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of HVAC/R systems
    .
  • Previous experience as an industrial electrician or in general industrial maintenance.
  • Certifications in hydraulics or industrial maintenance are desirable (HS/GED required).

Work Setting

This position is based in a modern manufacturing facility with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency. You’ll work with advanced tools and technologies, including PLCs and CMMS systems, and may perform field service work. Comfort with scissor lift operation and welding tasks is essential.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62,400.00 - $72,800.00/yr.
