JOB SUMMARY
The Clinic Radiology Tech performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for procedures as required. The Clinic Radiology Tech reports directly to the Clinic Site Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS- Satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA approved school.
- Meets the requirements for registry by the ARRT.
- Previous medical office experience preferred.
- Selects proper technical factors on an individual patient basis, providing protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
- Operates equipment as directed, with prescribed safety standards.
- Maintains adequate records as directed.
- Monitors equipment maintenance.
- Prepares exam rooms and takes patient histories and vital signs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrates support for organizational and departmental mission.
- Supports and demonstrates knowledge of the Strategic Plan and the Hospital Key Initiatives.
- Fosters and promotes teamwork within department and the organization as a whole.
- Works to resolve conflicts constructively and in a timely manner.
- Ability to communicate effectively and simply with every customer and co-worker.
- Ability to display a positive, courteous and friendly attitude toward all contacts.
- Ability to build good relationships with others based upon a sustained effort of mutual support toward common goals.
- Ability to exercise good judgment, reasoning and concentration to detail and to take personal accountability for all actions in carrying out job duties.

- Subject to electrical and radiant energy hazards.
- Required to lift supplies, and lift and position patients.
