JOB TITLE:
Environmental Service Worker; 80
HRS, 3PM - 11:30PM, EVERY OTHER WEEKEND
The Environmental Service Worker is to maintain a clean, sanitary, and orderly facility environment; keep a daily QI log. The Environmental Service Worker reports directly to Director Environmental Service.
Qualifications- Education:

Job Duties
- Cleaning of surgery, out-patient areas, inpatient areas, all public areas, and offices by cleaning vertical and horizontal surfaces. Occasional light maintenance duties.
- Cleaning of draperies, cubicles and blinds.
- Maintain floors by either dust mopping; wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, running auto scrubber, vacuuming, and shampooing carpets. Maintain and organize all floor care equipment, cleaning carts, trash carts and all other equipment.
- Removal and transport of regular waste, infectious waste and disposal in the proper method. Removal and transport of soil linen and put in proper receptacle.
- Document the procedure involved in the disposal of hospital waste products, and ensure that the right procedure in line with the standard practice of the hospital, is followed.
- Response to code red, code green, code pink, and other emergency situations.
- Other duties as assigned.
