The System Analyst oversees the day-to-day EMR system administration and provides support for organizational efficiencies. This full-time System Analyst provides support to the leadership, management, and clinic staff by helping to resolve issues with the EMR platform, as well as integrated systems. This position will use predictive analytics based on complete and relevant EMR data to provide more accurate diagnoses, improved public health and preventive medicine, and decrease healthcare costs.

The position responsibilities listed below is not an all-inclusive list and other duties may be assigned to support organizational goals and efficiency.

Position responsibilities
  • Use EMR analytics to enable the organization to eliminate the gaps in documentation, coding, and quality by providing insights into ways to advance healthcare services.
  • Build and maintain favorable relationships with organization s leadership, peers, and industry organizations that will enable great efficiency, care coordination, and reduced administrative demands on staff.
  • Identify EMR system, process, performance, and architectural security and improvements to support the technical roadmap and organizational business needs.
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    • Associate degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field desired, Bachelors  Degree preferred.
    • Minimum 2 years of system administration in an Electronic Medical Records system (E-clinical-works is preferred) and extensive knowledge of workflows in ambulatory settings/FQHC.
    • Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations and reporting for HEDIS, UDS, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies.
    • Extensive experience in the following environments: SQL, Access, Excel, and or other statistical packages.
    • Knowledge of industry/business hardware/software applications and healthcare interoperability solutions (e.g., Dragon, Microsoft).
    • Knowledge of role-based security and HIPAA rules and regulations is essential.
    • Ability to explain system usage to physicians and other clinicians, as well as senior leadership.
    • Take complete ownership for the assigned task and provides timely updates on the progress of the project / task to all stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
    • High degree of professionalism in attitude and teamwork with customers, peers, and management. Strong attention to detail
    • Exceptionally strong analytic abilities, with a proven track record of driving insightful findings from quantitative and qualitative data.
    • Maintain above average attendance
