General Dentist- Sedalia & Warsaw

Overview

The dentist delivers primary comprehensive and emergency oral health services to health center patients by working to the fullest capacity of their licensure. The dentist assumes responsibility for the quality of oral health services rendered to patients and supports the organization’s mission to serve underserved community members. This position requires compliance with KTCH policies and procedures regarding immunization, personnel, infection control, confidentiality, drug-free workplace, and other applicable policies.

The role may include serving in rotation for after-hours call system.

• Deliver primary comprehensive and emergency oral health services to health center patients by working to the fullest capacity of licensure.
• Assume responsibility for quality of oral health services rendered to patients.
• Support alignment of the organization’s mission with the oral health needs of underserved community members.
• Comply with KTCH policies and procedures regarding immunization, personnel, infection control, confidentiality, drug-free workplace, and other applicable policies.
• Serve in rotation for after-hours call system as required.

• Graduate of an accredited school of dentistry and holds a current license as a dentist in the State of Missouri, as well as current DEA and BNDD registrations.
• Current BLS certification.
• Demonstrated professional commitment to providing services to underserved persons in the community and priority populations.
