Network Administrator

The Mid-Level Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing the organization’s network infrastructure. This role supports daily network operations, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and security across both on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies and a strong foundation in network security and systems support.

• Manage, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot outages, and implement patches, upgrades, and enhancements
• Configure and support LAN/WAN environments, VPNs, and core network services such as DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory
• Lead hands-on network deployments, implementations, and configuration changes
• Maintain accurate network documentation, topology diagrams, and change management records
• Implement and enforce network security policies; respond to security incidents as needed
• Support security platforms and tools including Forcepoint, Secure Access, Globalscape, and Crowd Strike
• Provide support for Windows Server and desktop environments
• Support Microsoft 365 and cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS)
• Serve as Tier 2/3 escalation point for complex technical issues
• Participate in on-call rotation, including off-hours and weekend support as required

• 3–5+ years of hands-on network administration experience
• Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols (VLANs, OSPF, BGP)
• Experience with Cisco networking equipment and firewall technologies
• Solid knowledge of network security principles and tools
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities
