OSS -Parole​/Pardon Investigator

Overview

Responsible for completing Parole and Pardon Investigations in the Low State area. Office location TBD.

• Complete parole and pardon investigations related to the Low State area.
• Execute community contacts with law enforcement agencies, judges, victims, inmates’ families, and other community resources.
• Gather and confirm details regarding criminal convictions and supervision history.
• Maintain documents related to all investigations.
• Initiate legal review of problem cases and monitor all problem cases to ensure swift resolution and prevent hearing delay.
• Maintain a professional communication network inside and outside of the Department.

• A bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree and 2‑3 years of work experience directly related to criminal justice (probation & parole, law enforcement, corrections), or a high school diploma and 3‑5 years of related program experience.
• Relevant program experience in the field of criminal justice.
