Staff Accountant

COSCO SHIPPING Logistics North America Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support the Intermodal Bridge Transport (IBT) department in vendor payment processing and financial documentation.

This role is responsible for reviewing and verifying invoices, maintaining accurate accounting records in SAP, and ensuring timely and compliant payment operations. The position requires accuracy, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills to support daily financial operations and reporting.

• Responsible for collecting, organizing and reviewing vendors' invoices and relevant supporting documents;
• Accurately enter data into the SAP system based on the verified documents and generate relevant accounting vouchers.
• Print bank statements and regularly organize accounts payable-related files in accordance with requirements;
• Handle relevant payment processes in the payment systems as required

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree required

Experience:

Entry Level (prior internship or exposure to accounting preferred)

Additional Requirements:

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and invoice/payment workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP or similar accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of meeting deadlines under minimal supervision.
