Stand‑Up Forklift Operator

We are looking for a careful and responsible individual to move packages and material around our facilities. The role involves operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety, as well as assisting in the manufacturing and packaging of a wide selection of food items.

$16.00/yr - $16.00/yr

• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
• Transport raw materials to production workstations
• ------ Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
• Assist on the food processing line
• Clean and sanitize machines, work areas and common areas
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
• Help maintain a safe and klacht environment of the facilities
• Other duties assigned by Supervisor or Management

• Proven experience as forklift operator in stand‑up
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
• Excellent physical condition and coordination
• Good team working skills and the aptitude to work alone
• Ability to work in cold rooms, refrigerated rooms and freezers
• Valid certification to operate forklifts
• Ability to work in temperature‑controlled cold food processing rooms (45°F or colder) continuously for up to 4 hours
