Overview
HCA Healthcare is seeking an experienced full-time Nocturnist Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Hospital Medicine Team at HCA Florida Highlands Hospital in Sebring, Florida. Specialization:
Internal Medicine.
- Provide nocturnist coverage 7pm – 7am (weekdays and weekends).
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least one year of inpatient experience (preferred).
- Three years of experience in acute care, cardiac, or pulmonary (preferred).
- Acute Care certification (preferred for NP) or Critical Care experience (preferred for NP/PA).
- DEA license is required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- No Procedures / No Codes
- Open ICU with intensivist coverage
- Schedule is 7p - 7a; 7 on / 7 off block scheduling
- Dedicated nocturnist team of one remote physician and one APP on site; 7pm to 7am
- 4 full-time physicians & 2 full-time APPs in the Hospital Medicine team
