Job Summary:
The Palms of Sebring is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate and treat residents, helping them improve mobility, strength, and functional independence. This position is available Full-Time and Per Diem, with consistent hours per week. The Physical Therapist will collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that enhance residents’ quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate residents’ physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, balance, strength, and functional performance.

• Assist residents in achieving safe and optimal movement for daily activities.

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other therapy disciplines regarding treatment progress.

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapeutic exercises, safety techniques, and mobility strategies.

Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.

• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred, but not required.
