* Job Description:

* Provides timely pastoral care and spiritual support to patients, families, and staff during crises, emergencies, and routine situations. Responds to inpatient referrals within 24 hours and outpatient referrals within 48 hours, including evening and weekend chaplaincy care. Participates in mandatory facility-wide and department training/meetings, demonstrating knowledge of fire, safety, security, and disaster procedures. Collaborates with community clergy, local congregations, and community events to provide spiritual care and lead educational workshops.

Engages in leadership spiritual formation and supports campus/entity leadership through spiritual care and mission resources. Coordinates appropriate spiritual support for patient care and team support, addressing concerns at times of care transition. Manages whole person care concerns for patients and team members, participating in ethics consults and family meetings. Contributes to department goals and objectives, fostering staff cohesiveness and communication.

Adheres to Advent Health organizational and departmental policies, including mission, vision, values, and code of conduct. Participates in hiring assessments for campus leaders and new-employee orientation. Provides 24/7/365 in-person care for spiritual wholeness concerns in assigned settings, including acute crises and pre-surgical support. Other duties as assigned.
