We are seeking a dedicated Echo Technologist PRN to join our Cardiovascular Laboratory team. HCA Florida Highlands Hospital is part of HCA Healthcare, which invests in team members and offers a comprehensive benefits program.

Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures as outlined in policies and procedures of the Cardiovascular Laboratory, including but not limited to duplex imaging and/or echocardiography. May be cross-trained into other areas in the department. Assumes responsibility and accountability for patients in the department and provides care through assessment, observation and documentation. Works primarily with a degree of independence. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described within.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered or registry eligible as a cardiac sonographer
• Work Experience in lieu of Degree, or High School Graduate / GED
• One year or more experience as an Echo Technologist is preferred. A working knowledge of the echo equipment is necessary. Additional on-the-job training will be conducted. Supervisory experience preferred.
