Clinic Waiting Room Greeter – Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation (Sebastian)

Join the Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation as a Clinic Waiting Room Greeter and help create a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and their families as they navigate their cancer care journey.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and guests with a friendly smile and welcoming tone.
• Offer beverages such as water and coffee to guests while they wait.
• Maintain a neat and orderly waiting area.
• Engage patients and guests in light, friendly conversation.
• Assist with a wheelchair or other assistance as needed.

Volunteer Requirements:

• Submit a volunteer application and complete a phone interview.
• Pass a criminal history check and drug/nicotine screening.
• Complete health screenings for TB, measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, and receive an annual influenza vaccine.
• Provide proof of immunity and vaccination records.

Shifts are typically Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–3 p.m., with a minimum commitment of 3 hours per week for at least 6 months. If you would like to volunteer to make a difference for cancer patients, please join the Volunteer Team at Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation.
