Overview
Our client, a growing and established law firm, is seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Finance & Administration to lead financial operations, treasury management, and HR infrastructure. This senior leadership role partners closely with ownership and department heads to drive profitability, accountability, and long-term growth aligned with EOS principles.
Position Summary
The Director of Finance & Administration ensures the firm’s financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and people operations. Responsibilities include cash management, accounting and reporting, HR systems, and operational administration while supporting strategic planning and firm performance.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Treasury Management
- Oversee banking relationships, cash flow, trust accounts, payroll, and internal controls
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting aligned with EOS
- Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Analyze profitability by department and service line
- Coordinate with CPA and oversee tax planning and compliance
Human Resources & Administration
- Lead recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, and employee relations
- Maintain HR policies, compensation structures, and benefits programs
- Support performance management and EOS accountability frameworks
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in financial and operational leadership
