Transportation Officer at Swedish Cherry Hill

The Transportation Officer operates the SMC employee shuttle service, and valet parking service. Employees in this position are expected to maintain a high level of customer service. Valet parking service includes greeting all clients in vehicles that arrive at the drive and inquiring whether the customer wishes valet parking service. The valet provides logistical information to assist the customer during their visit, even if Valet Services is not utilized.

Drivers for the employee shuttle service pick up and deliver riders to scheduled stops on the established shuttle route.

• Upon request:
  Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
• 6 months experience required in one of the following: patient or employee passenger transport, valet, and/or shuttle service.

• Experience using GPS systems.
• Cash handling experience.
