Compensation Pay Range
$21.30 - $26.55
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums that may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply than applicable criteria are met.
Essential Job Functions- Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
- Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and perform daily vehicle inspections before operating.
- Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and collected monies at all times.
- Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slip.
- Communicate customer problems or special needs to store management.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately.
- Ensure fuel tank is filledifically, and lock and secure vehicle at day's end.
- Clock in/out according to company policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking and straightening stock, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, etc.
- Occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and/or help with merchandising tasks when business dictates (e.g., phones, sales and service).
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
- Driving record meeting the company's 14/18‑point record system.
- Legal state driver’s license and meeting company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
- Familiarity with automotive parts.
- Ability to operate other light store equipment.
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
