The Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance on trucks to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. This includes lubricating and conducting basic service checks across various job sites and in a shop environment while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.

$25.00 to $35.00 DOE
Responsibilities- Lubricate trucks per manufacturer specifications.
- Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance checks on assigned trucks.
- Maintain accurate records of lubrication and maintenance activities.
- Communicate with operators and supervisors regarding vehicle needs or issues.
- Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations when handling hazardous materials.
- Report deficiencies or safety concerns promptly to the Equipment Manager or Supervisor.
- Assist mechanics with servicing as needed.
- Move company vehicles around the yard and perform additional maintenance tasks such as checking tire pressure, replacing filters, and inspecting for leaks.

High school diploma/GED
Requirements/Qualifications- Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license required
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Physical requirements:
climbing, stooping, bending, squatting, twisting, pushing, pulling, frequent lifting of 50 pounds, occasional lifting of 75 to 100 pounds with team support - Stretching, driving/sitting, using pneumatic and power tools
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Willing and able to take direction and learn new skills
- 1-2
- Years working with trucks - Tolerance for outdoor work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) and indoor shop conditions.
- Ability to operate lubrication equipment safely and effectively.
- Combination of field-based work requiring daily travel to various job sites and shop-based maintenance tasks.
- Flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends, depending on project needs.
Preferred:
- Mechanically inclined
- Eager to learn new skills
- Class B CDL
Successful candidate must submit to a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, background check and clearance from FMCSA if CDL Driver. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
