Seasonal Coach - Upper School Boys Soccer Coach

We are looking for talented, engaging, and compassionate coaches for our Upper School Boys Soccer Program team to help us advance our vision of being an inclusive community of learners that provides an outstanding education for each individual in a diverse student population. We need coaches who understand best practices in their respective sport and are passionate about coaching and enhancing student life.

Seattle Academy competes in the Metro League at the 3A classification.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge of the given sport and teaches appropriate fundamentals, techniques, skills, and encourages players’ individual progress with an emphasis on promoting teamwork and strategic development.
  • Has the main responsibility for striving to build good sportsmanship and developing good public relations in the school and community.
  • Compliance of all rules, policies, and procedures of the Metro League, District, and Seattle Academy.
  • Is responsible for the supervision and the health and safety of the student-athletes.
  • Is responsible for keeping season statistics for the Athletics Director and/or Athletic Department.
  • Articulates a well‑defined and understandable coaching philosophy surrounding the development of the
