Apple Vision Pro is a revolutionary spatial computer that seamlessly blends digital content with your physical space. It will allow us to do the things we love in ways never before possible - all while staying connected to the people around us. A key part of that experience is Spatial Audio.

The Audio team within Apple's Vision Products Group (VPG) is seeking a Senior Audio Software Engineer to help us push the limits of what audio can do for Spatial Computing.

** Description*
* In this role, you will investigate and define architectures for Spatial Audio, lead development of those architectures/ features, and broadly collaborate across Apple to bring them to life. You will also mentor other engineers on the team and help build future leaders.

** Minimum Qualifications*
* + Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar field, and a minimum 8 years of industry experience

+ Deep knowledge of C/C++ and Design Patterns that scale

+ Proven focus on Test Drive Development and quality documentation

+ Experience working in Audio Architectures and common Digital Signal Processing for audio.

+ Understanding of software optimization tools and techniques

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + Experience in the Apple developer ecosystem, including Objective-C, Swift, and Xcode

+ Proven track record of technical leadership

+ Audio Unit plugin development experience

+ Embedded software experience
