• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3 years of experience working in a matrixed organization.
• Experience with the AI Developer Ecosystem.

With technical and leadership expertise, you manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large‑scale projects across multiple sites internationally.

The Cloud Run team's mission is to accelerate the growth of new developers in Google. Cloud Run is Google Cloud Platform's premium Serverless platform for running applications. Cloud Run is used by enterprises of all sizes to run mission‑critical systems. More recently, we’ve seen an exponential growth from Artificial Intelligence‑generated applications running on Cloud Run that are deployed using first‑party products such as Gemini, Google Artificial Intelligence Studio, Firebase, Collaboratory, and by the wider AI‑assisted developer tooling ecosystem.

Our team is shipping innovative platform features to help accelerate the onboarding of new developers to run modern applications and capable Artificial Intelligence agents.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
