Key Job ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer with production‑quality software services experience. You will deliver high‑quality, extensible design and code in a fast‑paced environment, mentor junior engineers, manage competing priorities, and bring order to ambiguous scenarios. You are expected to identify and implement optimizations for performance, scalability, and efficiency, and to communicate clearly and effectively across organizations.
About The TeamYou will be part of a team working on AWS Intent Driven Networking, building a management plane that the network fabric teams use to scale and manage the networks. You have an opportunity to shape how one of the largest networks on the planet will be operated for at least the next decade.
Basic Qualifications- 3+ years of professional software development experience (non‑internship)
- 3+ years of design or architecture of new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, and scaling)
- 3+ years of Object‑Oriented Design experience
- 2+ years of designing and developing large‑scale, multi‑tiered, multi‑threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
