Our client is one of the most prestigious and well known retailers in the country, and is deeply committed to providing unmatched customer service and offering a quality product. They have an immediate need on their E-Commerce Team for a Senior .NET Developer who has solid Front-End experience.
The ideal programmer analyst will thrive in an intellectually challenging environment, solve problems and work with team members to create high-quality, leading edge software solutions.
Responsibilities:• Design and develop cutting edge e-commerce applications using Microsoft and Apple technology stacks
• Respond to mission-critical software problems in a rapid and high-quality fashion
• Analysis, development and documentation of technical requirements
• Technical estimation of work to be performed by self or others
• Work with defect tracking, source code control and software release systems to ensure high-quality software releases over time
• Collaborate with team for continuous improvement in an Agile development environment
Qualifications:• Minimum of 5 years professional software development experience
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in either Microsoft .NET or Java development
• Experience in how to follow, adhere to, and enhance a Software Development Methodology (Waterfall or Agile)
• Familiarity with objected oriented principles and patterns
• Ability to manage and prioritize own workload
• Demonstrated ability to be a team player as well as an independent performer
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis abilities
• Understanding of E-Commerce, search engines, integration of social networks preferred
• Design and creation of relational database schemas and SQL queries preferred
• Experience with performance tuning a plus
