The AWS Partner Network (APN) is the vital ecosystem we have created with our tens of thousands of consulting and technology partners, to promote AWS in every industry, every size of company, and every region of the world. APN offerings include validating partner qualifications in distinct areas, lead/opportunity sharing, training and certifications, marketing assistance, funding reimbursement, et al.

The AWS Partnerships team is responsible for external and internal supporting Partner Sales, the APN, and other elements driving the AWS partner ecosystem. We serve three groups of stakeholders: partners who work with us to sell AWS, customers who use AWS, and internal users responsible for driving AWS sales and adoption via partners.

The team specifically focuses on building external partner‑facing public APIs and AWS console applications for co‑selling with partners. Co‑selling is core to partner business operations driving multi‑billion dollar revenue for AWS. The team also focuses on building AI/ML applications to provide recommendations and insights to partners, further accelerating the closure of their deals.

AWS Partner Systems is looking for a results‑oriented, self‑driven Development Engineer who can help us create the next generation of distributed, scalable systems that support AWS' current and future business needs. In this role, you will enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment, relish working with a high volume of data, and take on highly complex business contexts that are typically being defined in real‑time.

You will design and develop services that process millions of transactions in a secured environment.

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to help the team take Marketplace to the next level. As a Software Development Engineer on the team you will own significant portions of the product and will have significant influence on our strategy by helping define the next wave of product features and system architecture. The systems are complex and there are huge opportunities to work at all levels from the front‑end user experience, to a set of robust platform services, to system‑level pieces and everything in between.

You should be somebody who enjoys working on complex system software, is customer‑centric, and is passionate about building quality software as well as achieving operational excellence. A commitment to teamwork, hustle, and strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners) are essential.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record of success delivering new features or products. They will have strong implementation experience, strong knowledge of web services and protocols, and an in-depth knowledge of systems architectures. Experience with asynchronous workflow, big‑data and AWS technologies is a plus.
