The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Generative AI team is responsible for growing OCI’s Generative AI and Agent services. Our goal is to enable customers to apply AI to solve their particular business problems with Oracle's assistance and expertise in Generative AI. In this role, you will have an opportunity to work with teams of applied scientists and engineers to deliver high quality generative AI models and services that delights our customers with the confidence that their data are safe and protected.

We are seeking a visionary scientist to spearhead applied science initiatives in our Agentic AI efforts. You will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of cutting‑edge technologies. You will work with a team of world‑class scientists in exploring new frontiers of Agentic AI to optimize their Long Term Memory use, Multi Agent interaction, Safety, Evaluation, etc to enable real world Enterprise solutions.

Research and Development:
Conduct in-depth research on code Agent Platform primitives such as Long Term Memory management, planning and reasoning and self‑eveolving approaches.

Team Leadership:
Build and mentor a high‑performing team of scientists and engineers.

Collaboration:

Work closely with cross‑functional teams to integrate code generation capabilities into various applications and products.

Innovation:
Identify new opportunities for Agentic AI emerging technologies.

Stay Updated:
Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and advancements in Agentic AInew.

Qualifications and

Experience:

PhD Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Linguistics or a related field with a dissertation, thesis or final project centered in Machine Learning and Deep Learning) with 5+ years relevant experience is preferred but not a must; OR Masters or Bachelor’s in related field with 8+ years relevant experience

Strong publication record, including as a lead author or reviewer, in top‑tier journals or conferences.

Extensive experience in image generation, computer vision, and deep learning

Proven track record of leading research and development projects

Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and architectures

Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills

Strong leadership and communication abilities

US:
Hiring Range in USD from: $139,400 to $291,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
