Type: W2 Contract
Salary Range: $120,600 - $141,400 per year
Location: Seattle, WA - Hybrid Role
Job SummaryOur team is building a low-latency, distributed block storage system to run workloads on our private-cloud infrastructure supporting databases, ML and analytics frameworks, and large-scale containerized and virtualized jobs. In this role, you will work on storage device-optimized low-level storage, large-scale distributed systems, and high-performance IO stacks operating at mission-critical levels of availability and durability.
Requirements and Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, an engineering-related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficient with Unix/Linux
- Proficiency in Rust; C++, Java, and/or C# preferred
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Perl
- Excellent knowledge of software testing methodologies and practices
- Strong ownership of work and a track record of delivering results
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with high-performance asynchronous IO systems programming is desired
- Knowledge of distributed systems is preferred
