We build scalable, high-performance solutions enhanced by modern technologies, including generative AI. Our team creates the best book shopping, buying, and reading experience across all devices while working closely with global central teams.

The Role: As an SDE-2 on our team in Chennai, you'll architect, develop, and optimize sophisticated systems that enhance how customers discover and purchase books. This role involves building scalable backend services, enhancing frontend customer experience, and exploring innovative technologies to create intelligent features. You'll have options to execute the roadmap across complex distributed systems while ensuring our solutions are both technologically advanced and user-friendly.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, or experience using design patterns in object-oriented code

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience using managed ML/AI solutions
