As an AI Engineer for the Integrations team, you will be responsible to design, develop, and optimize scalable, high‑performance cloud‑based solutions. In this role, you will work across the entire software development lifecycle, contributing to architecture, coding, testing, and deployment while ensuring high‑quality and reliable deliverables. You’ll collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. This position offers the chance to solve challenging technical problems, mentor junior engineers, and make a meaningful impact on the design, development, deployment, and operation of world‑class software and features that add customer value.
Key Responsibilities- Own key responsibilities in the design, architecture, and end‑to‑end delivery of AI‑driven modules.
- Propose innovative solutions by staying ahead of AI landscape trends and emerging technologies.
- Participate in requirements analysis to help with providing the right technical and business solutions for our customers.
- Have key responsibilities within the design, architecture, and end‑to‑end delivery of your development.
- Write clean scalable code and test and deploy applications and systems.
- Revise, update, refactor, and debug code.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge.
- Be part of an engineering organization delivering high quality, secure, voice solutions to Aircall clients.
- Involvement in product and platform performance optimization and live site monitoring.
- Participate in an on‑call rotation to respond to critical system issues and ensure continuous system reliability.
- Security is at the forefront of your mind in everything that you do.
- AI experience is a must for this position:
Strong knowledge of LLMs and hands‑on experience building with them - including usage, prompting and model integration. - Proven understanding and direct experience with Agentic AI systems, including designing, developing, and deploying AI Agents and MCP prototype/servers.
- Familiarity with AI frameworks (e.g., Lang Chain, Llama Index, Auto Gen) and modern AI architectures such as RAG, vector databases, reranking, and performance optimization.
- At least 1 year of experience in back‑end development using Python, Type Script/Node.js, or Java, with a focus on security, scalability, availability, and performance.
- Full‑stack development experience is a strong plus.

Ideally you will have worked with AWS in a production environment and understand how to design for, deploy on and get the best out of, the environment and services provided by Amazon.
