The Boeing Company is currently seeking a full stack Experienced
Software Engineer to join the Software Engineering Organization located in Seattle WA, Tukwila, WA, or Everett WA
. In this position, you will collaborate with other world-class scientists, researchers, and engineers innovating on a range of technologies such as Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML), Automation, and Autonomy, etc.

As part of Boeing Software Engineering Organization which supports Boeing Technology Innovation (BTI), our software engineers use their expertise to dream up next-generation software capabilities for amazing aerospace, satellite, and autonomy platforms. We develop cutting edge software applications that will improve the future of software capabilities, automation, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and much more. Our products help solve Boeing's most challenging problems across Commercial Airplanes, Defense Space & Security, and Global Services businesses.

The projects can range from new software products for the revolutionary 787 Dream liner to innovative aircrafts across several commercial, autonomy, defense, satellite, and space platforms.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Making major contributions to the full software development lifecycle as a full stack software engineer, including problem analysis and planning, Software Architecture & Design, Software Development, Software testing, and Software deployment with operational excellence.

  • Working efficiently as part of the agile team with experience of Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, etc.), Linux, backend, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift).

  • Collaborating with stakeholders, engineering teams, and peers closely for the software delivery on time with safety and quality.

  • Building and growing the software capabilities across organizations and teams.

  • Attending and presenting technical work in meetings with great verbal and written communications.

  • Mentoring junior software engineers

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
