The Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) organization encompasses a diverse portfolio of mission‑critical solutions that Boeing delivers to customers around the world. As a member of the Quality Tools & Analytics team, the candidate will collaborate with cross‑functional team members to solve complex problems using advanced data techniques. The candidate would support the Quality Decision Support System (QDSS) which is an integrated, web based Single Source of Truth platform. The platform is designed to support data driven decision making and cultural transformation by delivery of scalable AI/Data platforms and high value analytics products and services to the Quality and Supplier Quality organizations.

The platform contains a blend of reporting, analytics, and transactional solutions that enable the functional processes.

Proactively drives the vision for data foundation and analytics to accelerate building and improvement of cross platform components, and define and execute on plan to achieve that vision.

Conceptualizes and owns the data architecture for multiple large‑scale projects, while evaluating design and operational cost‑benefit tradeoffs within systems.

Leads the design, development, and maintenance of complex and scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into our data platform.

Builds cross‑functional relationships with Data Scientists, Product Managers and Software Engineers to understand data needs and deliver on those needs.

Determines and implements the security model based on privacy requirements, confirm safeguards are followed, address data quality issues, and evolve governance processes within allocated areas of ownership.

Architects and implements end‑to‑end data integration, ETL, and data processing solutions that align with business goals and performance requirements.

Optimizes and tunes data pipelines for maximum performance, scalability, and reliability.

Influences product and cross‑functional teams to identify data opportunities to drive impact.

Applies proven expertise and build high‑performance scalable data warehouses

• Front End – React JS, Palantir, .NET MVC
• Back End – Python, FastAPI , Java, Springboot
• Databases – SQL and No SQL
• AWS Cloud – EC2, EKS, Fargate, RDS, DynamoDB

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
• Must have experience with Spring Framework, REST, Java
• Ability to understand API specifications
• Experience in developing services (sync and async) using Microservices Architecture and Design patterns
• Experience in automated test (Mock, Mockito etc.).
• Experience in working in SQL Databases with ability to model and ability to write Stored Procedures - Postgres or MySQL or any other relational databases.
• Front End web development experience in React JS, .NET MVC
• Should have demonstrated ability to work in AGILE environment.

• Experience in GCP/Azure/AWS
• Domain experience in Aerospace/Navigation Solutions/Geo Spatial technologies
• Knowledge/experience in SAFe agile; pair programming etc
• Knowledge on Android / iOS app development

Typically, 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degrees (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred but not required.
