Responsibilities- Partner with PMs and engineers from different teams on building data transmission products.
- Design and development of cloud solutions according to demand scenario.
- Conduct performance and scalability tests and research innovative ideas for improvement.
- Design and implement comprehensive unit, functional and system-test for product quality.
- Participate in the release and deployment process.
- Debug, conduct root cause analysis, diagnose defects.
- Solve unique, large-scale, highly complex cloud infrastructure problems.
- Participate in the team’s on‑call rotation to keep services operational and highly available.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master degree in computer‑related fields.
- Minimum of 4 years of working experience in software development.
- Proficiency in one or more general‑purpose programming languages, such as Golang, Python, C++, etc.
- Demonstrated good coding practices, including code cleanliness, refactoring skills, and experience with unit testing.
- Familiar with one or more databases, including relational, No
SQL, analytical, document, and vector databases, such as MySQL, Postgre
SQL, Mongo
DB, Redis, Clickhouse, Cockroach
DB, TiDB, Ocean Base, etc. - Familiar with database data replication mechanisms.
- Experience with database kernel/database middleware/database management platform (Commonly used databases such as MySQL, Postgre
SQL, Redis, Mongo
DB, HBase, Clickhouse, etc.). - Familiarity with database log capture and analysis, message queue, ETL and other data processing technologies.
- Strong motivation for technology, good communication skills and teamwork spirit, excellent problem analysis and problem‑solving skills.
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $177,688 - $341,734 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
