Position: Engineer 2
Location: Seattle, WA
Duration: 1 year
Schedule: 8 hours a day | 8-5 or 9-6 Pacific time 4 days mandatory onsite - MON-THURS

- Design, build, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot
- Develop scalable, cloud-native microservices following best practices in software engineering.
- Work with Amazon Aurora and Dynamo
DB for data modeling, storage, and performance optimization. - Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and QA to deliver high-quality features.
- Build and maintain integration with internal and external systems
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, deployments, and incident response
- Ensure performance, security, and reliability of backend services in production
B Tech or M Tech CS/IT - React , .Net WPF and React Native is a plus
Skills- 5-10 years of experience in backend development using Java (8 or above) and Spring Boot
- Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture
- Proficiency in working with both SQL and No
SQL databases - Strong experience with Amazon Aurora (Postgre
SQL) - Familiarity with Amazon Dynamo
DB and designing efficient No
SQL data models - Solid understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and application performance tuning
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and build tools (Maven/Gradle)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with AWS services like Lambda, S3, API Gateway, ECS, or EKS
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and tools like Kafka or SQS
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, API security, and OAuth2
- Experience writing unit and integration tests with JUnit, Mockito, or similar frameworks
- Monitoring/logging experience with tools like Cloud Watch, ELK stack
