Java Developer (Contract)

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong experience in building mission‑critical, high‑volume, enterprise‑grade distributed applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, SQL/PLSQL, and modern enterprise integration technologies. This role requires hands‑on development experience, strong object‑oriented design skills, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑traffic Tier‑0 environment.

• Core Java
• Spring Framework / Spring Boot
• Authentication and Authorization mechanisms

• Oracle SQL / PL/SQL

• RESTful and SOAP Web Services

• 10+ years of hands‑on experience in Java/J2EE development for large‑scale, high‑volume, enterprise and distributed applications
• Strong understanding of Object‑Oriented Design principles and advanced Java programming concepts
• Extensive experience developing RESTful APIs using Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Experience with SOAP Web Services and service integration
• Strong experience with Apache Kafka for real‑time data publishing and consumption
• Proficiency in JUnit test case development, Test‑Driven Development (TDD), performance testing, optimization, and code analysis
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL and No
  
  SQL databases such as Cassandra
• Experience working with J2EE application servers
• Strong experience using development tools including:
• Eclipse / Intelli

• Maven
• Git / Bitbucket
• CI/CD pipelines
• Splunk
• SOAP UI
• Proven experience building highly scalable, highly available, distributed systems
• Strong knowledge of standard design patterns (Creational, Behavioral, JEE patterns)
• Experience diagnosing and resolving performance issues such as:
• Memory leaks
• High CPU utilization
• Thread contention and deadlocks
• Experience working on high‑traffic, Tier‑0 applications
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and SDLC processes
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
• Strong collaboration skills with experience coordinating across globally distributed teams

Pay Range*: $65-$70 per hour
