• Tackle Ashby’s most challenging design problems and help others improve their designs through an expanded in‑house design system.
• Redesign our mobile web app by co‑creating user flows, wire framing new experiences, and implementing the design system to bring those wireframes to life.
• Build composable, flexible components within the design system that enable other engineers to create custom autocompletes with features such as filters, record creation, and more.
• Consult with teammates on information hierarchy and scannability to streamline recruiters’ ability to parse candidate assessments.
• Contribute to product strategy, customer research, and prototype development while collaborating directly with product managers, designers, and infrastructure teams.
• Own end‑to‑end projects: research, write specs, build wireframes, and implement solutions in code.

• Introduction call with Hiring Manager (15‑30 minutes).
• Technical screen: paired coding session in our real codebase (1 hour).
• Three non‑coding interviews focused on product thinking, technical design, and infrastructure (3 h 15 min total, may be split across days).

• On‑boarding begins with a single setup script and a first product change on day one.
• Progressive ownership of feature complexity—from simple copy changes to high‑impact feature delivery.
• 30‑, 60‑, and 90‑day reviews with your manager to deliver feedback and align on goals.
• Dedicated peer pair‑programming and active team training on culture, product, process, and technical architecture.
