Senior Software Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our founding team. You will be responsible for contributing to core parts of our product and infrastructure.

• Work closely with the founding team.
• Build new product prototypes and iterate on existing products.
• Work across architecture, infrastructure, backend services, and frontend.
• Contribute to the formation and execution of Dystr’s roadmap.
• Root cause and fix field failures.
• Interview, mentor and ramp up new engineers as the team grows.

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Comfortable working across a variety of backend and frontend languages and frameworks.
• Deep understanding of networking and computer architecture fundamentals.
• Experience with a physical engineering discipline a plus (i.e. Electrical, Mechanical, Civil etc).

• Approach to problem‑solving grounded in fundamental principles and logical reasoning.
• Comfortable deploying and supporting production‑facing services.
• Write clean, organized and straightforward code.
• Maintain a healthy balance between speed of development and technical debt.
• Believe in the value of clear, professional communication.
• Excited by working at an early‑stage startup (hands‑on, fast‑paced, solution‑oriented).
• Enjoy being self‑directed in your work.
