Summary
King County Superior Court is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Program Outreach Specialist in Partnership for Youth Justice (PYJ) program. The position assists with coordinating youth intervention, diversion, and support services within Juvenile Court Services Community Accountability Boards (CABs). This role ensures timely case movement, facilitates communication between families, providers, and community partners, and supports the implementation of outreach, prevention, and early intervention strategies for youth.
The Program Outreach Specialist establishes and maintains relationships with schools, community agencies, and service providers. The position also supports the program supervisor with recruitment, training, and engagement efforts for volunteers, CAB members, and program staff, contributing to a comprehensive network of services that promote positive outcomes for youth and families.

Work locationThis position is primarily located at the Patricia Clark Children and Family Justice Center in Seattle. The incumbent may also be required to work at other Superior Court locations.
Work schedule and termsThis full-time position is hourly (overtime-eligible) and subject to the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act. The incumbent will work 35 hours per week. The workweek is normally Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Variations from these hours may occur.

- Provide guidance and resources to youth and families who are out of compliance with PYJ Intervention or Diversion agreements and staff cases prior to case rejection. Ensure families understand program expectations and timeline requirements.
- Assist with linking youth and families to appropriate community resources and communicate with service providers who are not connected with referred youth.
- Retrieve verification forms and documentation from providers to support case completion and ensure all required documentation is received, signed, and uploaded within required timelines.
- Coordinate with PYJ lead Advisors and Monitors and maintain oversight of case flow tracking systems to ensure timely movement and resolution. Organize and monitor documentation and maintain tracking systems.
- Coordinate and facilitate team meetings to support program operations and communication.
- Support the Program Supervisor with recruitment, hiring processes, and training opportunities for CAB members, volunteers and program staff.
- Assist with organizing and staffing information tables at community events to support outreach and recruitment.
- Support online platforms and social networking groups used for program communication and engagement.
- Support community outreach efforts to promote program visibility and engagement and help maintain relationships with school districts to increase referral access and collaboration.
Bachelor’s degree in public administration, social work, or related field, and three years of direct service and/or program support work experience in the juvenile justice system, community provider or related systems; OR an equivalent combination of additional work experience and education.
