Position: Marine / Residential Lead AV Technician - Seattle, WA

Topa Group, Inc. is partnered with a Marine & Residential AV Integrator based in Seattle, WA. We are actively looking to hire a Lead AV Technician.

About

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Marine & Residential AV Integrator to join our team based out of Seattle, WA. This role focuses primarily on the design, installation, configuration, and commissioning of high-end audiovisual and control systems
, with the majority of projects taking place aboard large, ultra-luxury superyachts
. Select residential projects and international travel—
including Europe
—are part of the role.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled integrator who enjoys technically challenging environments, world-class vessels, and working with premium clients and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot AV, control, and network systems in marine and luxury residential environments
  • Work with control systems, audio distribution, video distribution, networking, and automation platforms
  • Integrate systems including displays, audio processors, amplifiers, lighting control, and networking hardware
  • Perform system testing, commissioning, and client handoff
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and shipyard personnel
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required for project execution
  • Maintain clean, professional installations that meet high-end yacht standards
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an AV Integrator (marine experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of AV signal flow, networking, and system troubleshooting
  • Comfortable working in tight spaces and complex marine environments
  • Willing and able to travel, including international travel (Europe)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred / “Huge Plus” Skills
  • Crestron experience (programming or configuration highly valued)
  • Marine AV integration experience on yachts or ships
  • Familiarity with enterprise-grade networking and managed switches
