TECHNICIAN, SERVICE (COMMERCIAL KITCHEN) (FULL TIME)
LocationKES 410 Terry Avenue North, Seattle, WA 98109
ScheduleFull Time; M-F, 1pm to 9:30pm.
Requirements- 1 Year of experience in HVAC and preventive maintenance for commercial kitchen equipment.
- Minimum 1+ year of field experience performing preventive maintenance and service for commercial kitchen equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM), service checks, and minor repairs on hot‑side (fryers, ovens, grills) and cold‑side (walk‑ins, ice machines) equipment.
- Travel within 15–20 miles to corporate offices (Seattle‑only routes) and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.
- Proficient with basic hand tools and safe field practices.
$28.00 per hour to $35.00 per hour

Repairs, maintains and assists in the installation of vending machines and equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Respond to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company‑owned vehicle.
- Call on existing customers to determine adequacy of service; listen to and resolve service complaints.
- Visually inspect and listen to machines to determine causes of malfunctions; dismantle machines to gain access to problem area.
- Inspect parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems; remove and replace worn or defective parts; repair broken parts; realign and adjust components; test machine operation following repair.
- Review inventory and order parts; ship and receive machines; maintain equipment inventory.
- Prepare machines for installation at accounts; assist in installations and removals.
Set up and operate mechanical equipment and small hand tools, such as drills, grinders and welding torches, for machine repair. - Perform other duties as assigned.
