Controls Service Technician – Bellevue/Seattle, WA – HVAC & Controls – Up to $45/hr + Benefits About the Opportunity:

A long-standing HVAC and Building Controls provider in the Pacific Northwest is seeking a skilled Controls Service Technician to support its Bellevue/Seattle, WA service team. This position offers competitive pay, a strong benefits package, and a supportive work environment—with no mandatory on-call requirements.

Position:
  • Controls Service Technician – HVAC & Building Automation Systems
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Hourly Pay: $35–$45/hr (DOE) + Overtime

  • No required on-call rotation
Responsibilities:
  • Install, diagnose, service, and repair HVAC control systems and related equipment
  • Program controls from the ground up and adjust/modify sequences when necessary
  • Perform system commissioning, including point-to-point testing and device checkout
  • Test and verify equipment operation onsite or remotely
  • Conduct preventative maintenance, equipment replacements, and system upgrades
  • Implement software revisions and cybersecurity updates

    Collaborate with building owners, contractors, and internal technical teams
Ideal Candidates:

We are looking for technicians with the following background:

  • Previous experience as a Controls Service Technician or comparable BAS role
  • Technical expertise with HVAC controls, BAS hardware, and software
  • Strong proficiency with Tridium/Niagara platforms (required)
  • Ability to program, troubleshoot, and interpret wiring diagrams and control schematics
  • Excellent communication, time management, and documentation skills
  • Willingness to join the union if required in the future (currently non‑union)
