Restoration Technician

We’re hiring a full‑time Restoration Technician at Blu Sky Restoration Contractors. The position starts at $20.00/hr–$28.00/hr, based on experience.

The Restoration Technician is a first responder on property loss situations and helps mitigate damage in residential and commercial structures. Responsibilities include water damage mitigation, structural board‑up and security, on‑location cleaning, microbial remediation, content pack‑outs, content processing/deodorization, content storage, and handling.

• Water extraction and mitigation
• Fire and smoke cleaning and restoration
• Microbial remediation
• Vandalism, crime scene, and biohazard clean‑up
• Demolition (Demo Day!)
• Field management and supervision of all temporary labor personnel
• Provide the highest level of customer service with empathy
• All other duties or projects as assigned

• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
• Successfully pass a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report background check
• Successfully pass a pre‑employment drug screening
• Ability to be on‑call 24 hours a day
• 1 year of restoration industry or maintenance experience preferred

Noise level is usually quiet. Responsibilities include lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds. Employees are required to sit, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, and move around the office.

Occasional travel, less than 25% of the time. Some out‑of‑area and overnight travel may be expected for training or meetings.

Competitive base pay between $15–$25 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package that includes a matching 401(k) plan, health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, disability coverage, and equipment appropriate to the position.
