Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Unit

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to riders, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location;
Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns for reporting;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and coordination with site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed;
Control access to restricted areas when assigned, verify identification and/or credentials, and direct visitors, contractors, and deliveries according to site-specific requirements;
Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate relevant information during shift briefings and post orders updates
