Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Armed Financial Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution setting, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within financial institution locations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation skills and appropriate communication techniques.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
- Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergency situations.
- Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies regarding armed posts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
- Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
