Unarmed Security Officer (King County, WA)

Responsibilities- Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents
- Conduct regular patrols
- Monitor activities
- Surveillance
- Access Control
- Safety escorts
- Using provided communication devices
- Represent SSNW’s brand
- Properly wear the issued uniform
- Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR)
- Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services.
- Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees and visitors following the department's procedures.
- Other duties as described in the Post Orders
- Current Washington State Unarmed Security Guard License
- EMT Background a huge plus
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Availability to work graveyards and weekends
- 8-10 years of combined experience (Military, Law Enforcement, and/or Security) preferred
- Smart phone to access the apps we use for scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting
- Reliable transportation
- Honesty and Integrity
- Able to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to react appropriately in high stress situations
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 8-10 years' experience as a police officer, military police officer, or extensive security officer background
- Knowledge of security protocols, and equipment
- Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols
- Able to stand 8-12 hours a day
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times (occasionally)
