ACE Trainee - Seattle Area

Rexel USA is one of the largest distributors of electrical products, data communication, and related supplies in the United States, operating through eight regions and a network of over 460 warehouse storefront locations.

We are looking for an ACE Trainee to join our PLATT team in the Greater Seattle, WA area.

The Accelerated Commercial Experience (ACE) Trainee will complete an intensive rotational training program that provides exposure to multiple areas of business within the electrical distribution industry. Successful completion could lead to a commercial role in sales, project management, operations, procurement, marketing, or other career paths.

• Complete rotations across the following disciplines:
  • Warehouse/Logistics – learn warehouse operations, order fulfillment, inventory staging, and shipping.
  • Sales – experience inside sales, outside sales, counter sales, and specialty sales, focusing on customer service, product knowledge, and digital tools.
  • Operations – identify profitability levers, understand safety and facility maintenance, and use data to influence business decisions.
  • Project Management – manage customer relationships, vendor coordination, submission of orders, tracking shipments, billing, and clear communication throughout projects.
  • Energy Solutions – quote lighting projects, conduct lighting audits, design lighting layouts, prospect EV and datacom opportunities, and provide energy consulting.
  • Automation – shadow automation services sales and prospect automation opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

• External candidates:
  Minimum GPA of 3.0, preferred internship/co‑op experience.
• Internal candidates: 12 months of Rexel experience, positive year‑end review (at least Meets Expectations).
• Educational background:
  High School or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred, especially in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or related fields.
