Altius Talent is partnering with a well-established international freight forwarder that is investing heavily in commercial growth across the U.S. market. As part of this expansion, our client is looking to appoint a high-calibre Senior Business Development Manager in Seattle.

This is a pure hunting role built for a commercially aggressive operator who knows how to open doors, win net-new business and build a sustainable international freight pipeline.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for driving new business across international air and ocean freight throughout The North West region. The focus is firmly on net-new revenue, targeting importers and exporters across key verticals.

This is not an account management role. It is designed for a true new business hunter.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Winning new business across international air and ocean freight
  • Targeting importers and exporters across the USA
  • Building and executing structured territory plans
  • Developing and managing a robust sales pipeline
  • Leading client meetings, presentations and commercial negotiations
  • Working closely with operations to ensure successful onboarding
  • Maintaining accurate CRM and sales activity discipline
  • Consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets
What We Are Looking For
  • Minimum 5 years of external sales experience within international freight forwarding
  • Proven track record of winning net-new air and ocean business
  • Strong relationships within the US shipper community preferred
  • Commercially aggressive with a hunter mentality
  • Structured approach to territory management and pipeline building
  • Strong understanding of international air and ocean products
  • Self-sufficient, driven and comfortable operating remotely
