About the Role
Vysioneer is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in oncology. This role owns the full commercial process, from opportunity identification through deal execution, and focuses on converting existing relationships into active collaborations.
You will work closely with internal teams across product, clinical, regulatory, and leadership to translate oncology clinical development needs into high-impact engagements using Vysioneer’s AI platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development activities with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies focused on oncology clinical development
- Leverage an existing professional network in oncology clinical development to generate and advance opportunities
- Build and manage the full sales funnel, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, presentations, contract negotiation, and deal execution
- Conduct general market research and develop a deep understanding of partners’ oncology pipelines and clinical strategies to inform product positioning and go-to-market strategy.
- Collaborate with Medical Directors and Scientific Advisory Board members to support scientific positioning and partner discussions
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- Proven sales experience, including closing deals with pharma or biotech companies
- Established professional network within oncology clinical development
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles independently from first contact to contract execution
- Highly motivated, adaptable, and interested in applying AI to oncology clinical development
