This role functions as a TEG product line Clinical Advisor to the customer, driving utilization and expansion of TEG products within the defined territory. The position supports ongoing account management by providing clinical education and case support at existing and potential customer sites. Residence in either Portland, OR or Seattle, WA is required, with 50‑75% travel.
Essential Duties- Territory management for existing TEG customer base.
- Increase product usage at existing accounts and expand customer base through clinical education of new users, generating revenue growth.
- Train new and existing customers on all product and clinical aspects of the TEG line, ensuring independent, safe operation of equipment, software, and disposables.
- Provide clinical expertise to ensure TEG product line reaches standard‑of‑care levels within the account, leveraging CRM tools and market data.
- Drive and expand existing business, achieving assigned sales AOP annually, by ensuring all applicable TEG assays and updated software versions are utilized.
- Visit assigned hospital accounts, identify and train clinical champions, and establish relationships with key decision makers.
- Provide onsite support for new TEG customers “going live” with technology or additional assays, including after‑hours support.
- Resolve technical, operational, and clinical customer concerns, partnering with cross‑functional teams to develop solutions.
- Increase professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, networking, and participating in professional societies and conferences.
- Maintain records within CRM tool on area of responsibility and customers.
- Support VAD/ECMO, Trauma, CV, High Risk Obstetrics, Liver transplant, Vascular, and all Critical Care clinicians in their use of TEG.
- Assist customers in tailoring training materials and addressing needs.
- Understand competition and convert opportunities to TEG business.
- Collaborate with Account Manager to target key accounts for expansion and forecast revenue during quarterly business planning and monthly cadence calls.
- Provide tradeshow support regionally and nationally.
- Drive demand for device and software upgrades and add‑on devices.
- Work closely with Account Manager and Implementation team during laboratory installation, validation, and verification, including training, competency, SOP, IQCP development, donor sourcing, logistics, and ordering.
- Prospect and develop multi‑level relationships within defined territory.
- Participate in product development and quality investigative launches, providing feedback to sales, marketing, and R&D.
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts or Science (required);
Master’s degree or Business Administration preferred, in Science or a medical‑related profession. - 3+ years industry or clinically related experience, preferably in complex medical devices and/or critical care environment.
- Knowledge of hemostasis management required.
- Strong technical/clinical aptitude to understand, train customers and users on products, including running the TEG® Analyzer, understanding application of results, and manipulating the software.

The base pay offered will take into account the candidate’s location, education, job‑knowledge, skills, and experience. Incentives may also be provided… For sales roles, employees will be eligible for a sales incentive under the plan terms. For non‑sales roles, employees may receive a discretionary annual bonus. Employees may also be eligible to participate in the Company’s long‑term incentive plan.

The base salary range for this role is $66,060.29 – $ annually.
